Money and business website “howmuch” gathered information from pretty much all known major cryptocurrency hacks and scams, and then compile it in an easy to read infographic.

Watching this graph for just a second it’s easy to understand why experts usually say not to leave your cryptocurrency on exchanges if you’re not planning on doing trades with it.

Security has been a word discussed since the beginning of cryptocurrency increased in popularity, in 2017 with the markets boom, new exchanges where born and lots of new investors in cryptocurrency entered the market, many of which had little or zero concerns about security witch just exponentially increased the problem.
