ULedger, Inc. is proud to announce that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Northwest-based Basin Pacific Insurance. Under terms of the partnership, Basin Pacific and ULedger will identify targeted use cases within the insurance industry for Blockchain advancements.

Micah Trautman, CFO of Basin Pacific states: “Blockchain is a transformative technology and through our relationship with ULedger, we are excited to become one of the first insurance brokerages to bring Blockchain, and its many benefits to real-world practice.” Mr. Trautman further added that “This aligns with our mission to provide greater efficiencies, data integrity and cost reductions that are greatly needed in the insurance industry. Basin Pacific is already realizing the benefits of this arrangement with our recent integration of ULedger’s Blockchain email solution across our entire company.”

Mac Chavarria, Branch Managing Partner of Basin Pacific added: “We have been watching the Blockchain space closely for the past several years. This alignment with ULedger will help us focus on the best use cases given their depth of experience and a solution set which is far ahead of many other players in the space. ULedger was a natural choice given their stateless hybrid protocol which affords greater flexibility in integration with significant scalability advantages.”

Josh McIver, CEO of ULedger states: “We are very pleased to announce this effort, which will help solve many of the inefficiencies that are currently found in the insurance industry. Information and records stored on Blockchain data structures are becoming the standard by which most information will eventually be improved with. ULedger is helping Basin Pacific to eliminate the inefficiencies, lack of trust and transparency, and the single point of failure found in traditional databases structures. Companies like Basin Pacific continue to find that ULedger is a superior blockchain solution than Ethereum and Hyperledger (used by IBM and others) for business use cases.”
